Saw Taiwana mentioned under recent changes.  Any info on the Taiwana?  Always wonder if anyone eats or stays there.

The owner contacted me to update their listing, which is why it was under recent changes.  Of course people stay and eat there!   I haven't eaten there in a while but I her it's great.  Anyone else stayed or eaten there recently?

There must be someone, but I've never seen a single post on any of the St. Barths forums from someone that actually did.  Could you post a menu and the prices?

People do stay and eat here just we like to keep it private.  Our menu varies from typical salads from Lentils to Lobster. Our main dishes include whole grilled fish,  grilled chicked and sirloin steack as well as a variety of other mouthwatering choices.

Our prices begin at 27 Euros for Salads until 62 Euros for the whole grilled fish.  We are open everyday for Lunch beggining at 1pm.  Closed for dinner.

Thanks Felipe for the reply.  Are most all your diners staying at Taiwana or do you welcome outsiders?  If outsiders are welcome, do they need reservations for lunch?   We've always wondered what Taiwana was like and may have to try it for lunch next time we are on the island.

Tried it finally.  Expensive lunch, but great service. Enjoyed using the pool in the afternoon.  We only saw 3 others having lunch and  one couple at the pool.  Be sure to bring your own towels or be prepared to pay 25 euros rental per towel... ouch.
