Some easy tools to help you plan the perfect vacation

More Coming Soon

"The Perfect Vacation" - you hear this phrase over and over again. But what does it really mean? That's the catch, I think. The perfect vacation is different for different people. Even in a close relationship the ideas differ, which what I believe can cause tension on vacations. Here we've put together some ideas for different vacations for different folks to help you have the best time possible on St. Barths. We know your time here is short, so you want to make the most of it.

One Day

Whoa! Not much time there to get a feeling for the island. If you're coming for one day, you're more than likely visiting off of a passing Cruise Ship, coming in on your own boat, or just in a real big hurry. Regardless, there are a few Must-See's that I think you can squeeze into one day. Again, it depends on who you are, and what you like.

Beaches
If you like to hike, arrive early and hike out to Columbier beach. Grab some To Go sandwiches and water, call a taxi and spend the day on the most secluded and amazing beach on St. Barths. The hike is easy to moderately difficult (there's some uphill and rocks to climb around) and takes about 30 minutes. You'll be rewarded by the stunning views, turquoise waters and fantastic snorkeling.
Not into hiking? The beach for you is Shell Beach. Right in town, you can walk there easily. Have lunch at Do Brazil, snorkel along the rocks, and basically relax all day.
Got wheels? Then you should head over to Gouverneur beach for magnificent sunbathing and swimming. Bring your own snacks and water, there are no services nearby. Pack out what you pack in, nobody likes a beach with litter.
Tours
There are several tours you can take to see the whole island in one go. You can take a taxi tour, rent a quad, or arrange for a private tour.
Food
My God, you've got ONE DAY to eat?! I don't know where to start! Start with a good breakfast at Le Repaire, have lunch at Cololoba, if you can get there, if not have lunch in town at the Wall House. Stop at Bar de L'Oubli for cocktails before heading out to dinner. I can't even begin to recommend dinner. If I had my last dinner on St. Barths before the gallows, I would have to choose Le Gaïac for the food, view, and service. I also really like Massaï for the ambiance, service, and quality.
